How It Works — Shaolin Toys

Three layers: the physical figure, the cryptographic code on its sole, the digital companion in your phone. Each one stands on its own.

Three steps

01
The figure
A collectible art figure in 1/12 scale (~15 cm), in two lines per character: ART TOY and CLASSIC. A complete art object for your shelf — even if you never open the app.
02
The scan
On the sole sits a unique QR/HMAC code, printed as a high-quality wear-resistant sticker. Scan it with your phone camera in the official app — the code verifies authenticity and links the figure to your profile.
03
The companion
The app unlocks the character's digital companion: skill progression, training, challenges — mechanics in the spirit of classic virtual pets. Strictly entertainment: no financial rewards.

Two-way independence

The figure is complete without the scan — it is a finished collectible. The game is complete without the figure — the app is free and self-sufficient. The QR link gives the companion bonuses but locks nothing and demands nothing.

How the pre-order works

Go to shaolin.toys and pick your figure — the character and the line.
Hit Buy and choose Pay Later as the payment method.
Leave your contacts: an email and a messenger where we can reach you.
That's it. Nothing is charged. When sales open, you hear from us first — the run is limited and subscribers get early access.

Authenticity check

HMAC is the same class of cryptography used in bank transaction signatures. Every figure carries a unique code: counterfeiting a batch whose codes pass verification is practically impossible. Paper certificates get forged along with the box — here the certificate is baked into the object itself.
